ICAN provides training and CPD initiatives for Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Support Workers and other disciplines. Training is provided for newcomers to the VdTMoCA wishing to gain full training for application of the VdTMoCA to practice; for OT educators needing to gain a detailed overview for teaching purposes; for new additions to an OT team that is able to teach application of the model but needs new staff to gain formal training in key aspects of the VdTMoCA, and for those wanting a refresher in aspects of VdTMoCA theory, assessment or intervention.

Advanced training in the VdTMoCA is also available for Occupational Therapists wishing to further develop knowledge of theory and application of the model to practice. ICAN also delivers an international conference on the model every two years in the UK. Go to the Training & CPD page for more information.

Wendy is also a guest Lecturer in Occupational Therapy in the UK and Singapore and is available to teach and present on the model in education, OT Society’s and conferences. Wendy has worked extensively with occupational therapists in Japan and has also delivered training in Namibia and Singapore.
